Santa may not have brought you that high definition TV you asked for, but that doesn't mean you can't catch the Super Bowl in style this year. Check out one of the Super Bowl parties going on right here in Largo. Most of these neighborhood bars are offering free food and cheap drink specials, and none of them are charging a cover. You could get lucky by entering free raffles and football pools, whether your team wins or not. The general manager at A.J.'s Sports Bar and Grill, 7210 Ulmerton Road, Unit A, may be a Patriots fan, but he said he'll provide neutral territory for fans of either team. The bar has four big screen televisions and 35 other TVs scattered throughout the tavern. Bartenders will offer specials on buckets and pitchers of domestic drafts, and the Budweiser girls will hand out free hats, shirts and more. Opens at 11 a.m. today. Call 539-6760. At Brenda and Eddies Getaway, 3460 E Bay Drive, you'll be entered into a free drawing that will award $50 cash after each quarter and another free $50 bar tab raffle. Some shots will be on special for $1, others for $3.50. Munch from the free taco bar throughout the game, which will be shown on 16 TVs, including three big screens. Opens at noon today. Call 539-8796. At Rudy's Sports Caf, 11100 66th St. N, #40, the big game will be shown on 32 televisions, including 10 50-inch plasma screens with high definition. They'll offer a special that includes two bratwurst and a pitcher of domestic draft for $10, and will celebrate each touchdown with $3 shot specials. There will also be raffles with prizes. Opens at 2 p.m. today. Call 546-2616. Bartenders at Sneaky's Sports Bar and Grill, 7500 Ulmerton Road, will be offering buckets of five beers for $7.50, $1 draft beers and free giveaways. And don't forget the free taco buffet at halftime. Opens at 11 a.m. today. Call 536-9000. Come hungry to Sundown Saloon Sports Bar and Grill, 12553 Ulmerton Road, where they'll serve up free venison and grouper from the grill. There will be specials on buckets of domestic bottles, raffles for NASCAR tickets and free giveaways. The game will be shown on 11 TVs, including two big screens. Patriots fans are welcome, but beware, Sundown boasts a legion of Giants fans. Opens at 11 a.m. today. Call 593-9291.
