Business women's expo set for cultural center

"Women In Business Forum & Expo: A Balancing Act" will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Largo Cultural Center, 105 Central Park Drive. Admission is free.

Speakers include 1999 Miss America Nicole Johnson, recent Emory University College of Law graduate Karly Schweitzer and Bevv Beirl, editor of Bay Area Business Magazine.

The expo will feature exhibits of Largo and Pinellas County businesses and organizations that interest women and include women as customers and clients. Many exhibitors will represent women-owned or managed companies.

Coffee An'Networking set for Beef O'Brady's

The monthly Coffee An'Networking business leads program will be from 8 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Beef O'Brady's, Pinellas Shopping Center, 841 West Bay Drive. A networking exercise and door prizes will be featured. Cost is free for members, $10 for nonmembers.

Learn to be heart smart at luncheon on Feb. 12

"Love Yourself this Valentine's Day - Get Heart Smart!" is the topic of the Largo/Mid-Pinellas Chamber of Commerce business luncheon from 11:45 to 1 p.m. Feb. 12 at Pinecrest Place, 1150 Eighth Ave., SW, Largo. It's being sponsored by Massage Envy of Largo.

Guest speaker will be Dr. S. Masood Gilani, a cardiology specialist at Largo Medical Center. Gilani will provide information about ways to be heart healthy while living a fast-paced and often stressed-out life.

A representative from Massage Envy will also offer some relaxation techniques for use in the workplace.

Cost to attend is $10 in advance, $15 at the door for chamber members, $20 for nonmembers. To register, call 584-2321 or e-mail info@largochamber.org.
