With the onset of the feline breeding season, Pinellas County Animal Services urges citizens to spay or neuter their cats and is offering low-cost and no-cost services during the month of February. In Pinellas County, unwanted cats represent the majority of the animal overpopulation problem, and, unfortunately, there are far more kittens and cats turned in to local shelters than can be placed for adoption. Pinellas County Animal Services offers low-cost spaying and neutering and, for those who qualify, free feline spaying. Call (727) 586-3591 to find out how the program works.
