Woman sought in robbery of Wachovia Bank
Police are looking for a woman who robbed a Wachovia Bank on Tuesday. Shortly before 3:45 p.m., the woman walked into the Wachovia at 9775 N 56th St. She handed the teller a note demanding money, then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, Temple Terrace police spokesman Michael Dunn said. She displayed no weapon, and no one was injured. The robber is described as a 5-foot-6 woman with medium build. Authorities believe she is about 30 years old. Woman robbed outside Wal-Mart
Two men robbed a woman at gunpoint in the parking lot of the St. Petersburg Wal-Mart at 3501 34th St S at about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, police said. Investigators used police dogs to search for the men, who grabbed the victim's purse and apparently ran away. Police reported no injuries and did not have a description of the men late Tuesday night.

Laborer accused of sexual battery
Hillsborough sheriff's officials arrested a 19-year-old laborer from Wimauma on Tuesday, saying he touched a 4-year-old girl inappropriately. According to reports, the girl's mother walked into Ezequiel Jimenez's bedroom Sunday and saw Jimenez touching the girl while his pants were down. The mother reported the incident to authorities, and Jimenez was charged with sexual battery of a victim under 12 years of age, which is a felony, said Hillsborough sheriff's spokeswoman Debbie Carter. No information was released on the relationship between Jimenez and the girl, or why she was in his bedroom.

Three generations testify in sex trial
Three generations of victims testified against Roy Joseph Seavey at his trial last month on a charge of lewd and lascivious molestation. A jury found Seavey guilty of molesting a 14-year-old boy in 2005. A judge sentenced him Tuesday to 14 years in prison. Circuit Judge Jack Day also declared Seavey, 45, a sexual predator.
