State girls soccer semifinals

CCC (15-5-3) at Lake Highland Prep (18-4-7), noon

Where: Lockhart Stadium, Fort Lauderdale, $8 per session

Lake Highland facts: Based in Orlando, Lake Highland Prep is making its fifth straight trip to the state final four. The Highlanders won their only state title in 2006.

Lake Highland players to watch: Class 3A, District 10 player of the year and senior captain Valorie O'Brien paces Lake Highland Prep with team highs of 21 goals and 15 assists from her central defender/midfield position. Senior Sonja Sahlsten has allowed only eight goals in 15 games (0.53 GAA).
