Patriots move up in state poll

Pinellas Park, which won its first Pinellas County Athletic Conference boys basketball title last week, jumped to No. 5 in the Class 5A state poll.

The Patriots are the highest ranked county team.

Others in the top 10 include Lakewood at No. 6 and Clearwater at No. 7.

Calvary Christian is receiving votes in Class 2A.
