Register for Wednesday Belles & Beaus League

The Quarry Golf course in Brooksville has opened registration for the Belles & Beaus League that runs Wednesday mornings from 8:45 to noon.

The cost for members is $10 and $20 for nonmembers, which includes 18 holes of golf with cart, lunch, drink and weekly prizes.

Play is in scramble format-blind draw.

Golfing for homes: Plantation Palms Golf Club has announced that it will host the Habitat for Humanity of Central Pasco County Inc. Annual Golf Tournament at 12:30 p.m. Feb. 25

Format is a four-team scramble that include lunch, and cost is $75 per teammate. For information, call 813-949-3669.

Magnolia Valley

The Magnolia Valley Golf Course has leagues available for public play twice a week.

There is a nine-hole scramble at 3 p.m. Wednesdays for ABCD players.

The course makes up the teams, and the cost is $19, which includes prizes.

The Sunday league starts at 8 a.m. and is an 18-hole, scramble format for ABCD players. The cost is $35, which includes prizes. Call 727 847-2342 for information.

Upcoming tournaments

COUPLES TOURNAMENT: Beacon Woods Golf Course in Bayonet Point is hosting the Hernando Couples Tournament on Feb. 11 and a YMCA outing on Feb. 24.

March 15: Ridge Manor Kiwanis is holding a tournament at 8 a.m. March 15 at Sherman Hills Golf Course.

The tournament will be a shotgun start. Registration is $50 before March 1 and $55 after that date. Lunch will be included with registration.

Hole sponsors are $250 for platinum (includes four players and hole sponsor); $150 for gold (includes two players and hole sponsor) and $75 for silver (includes hole sponsor).
