Local remodeling contractors move on to nationals

Several Tampa Bay area remodeling contractors were among regional winners recently in the Contractor of the Year awards presented by the National Council of the Remodeling Industry.

Southeast regional winners are:

- Mueller Remodeling of Seminole, residential kitchen under $30,000 and residential bath over $60,000.

- Strobel Design Build of St. Petersburg, residential interior over $100,000.

- Triple Point Construction of Gulfport, entire house remodeling, $250,000-$500,000.

- Jeffrey M. Wolf, general contractor, of St. Petersburg, whole house remodeling, $500,001-$1-million.

- Bay Breeze Enterprises of St. Petersburg, commercial interiors.

The regional winners - 157 from seven regions around the country - move on to the national competition, which will be March 15 at the Hilton in St. Petersburg. The award ceremony, known as the "Evening of Excellence," is expected to draw 400 remodeling contractors, suppliers and sponsors nationwide. It is regarded as the premier event in the remodeling industry.
