Pets of the week Avery and Dexter

Avery (No. 04076703), left, and her brother Dexter (No. 04076692) are quite the combo. They are a pair of 12-year-olds that are black and brown in color and really need a loving home. Both are very easy going and truly lovable. They like to curl up and be rubbed and talked to. They have had their first shots, are spayed and neutered, and have been microchipped for permanent identification. They are at the Humane Society of Tampa Bay, 3607 Armenia Ave., Tampa. Adoption hours are noon to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday; 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday; and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday. Call (813) 876-7138.
