'Washington week' live, chat with ifill planned

Gwen Ifill, moderator and managing editor of the PBS show Washington Week, will visit St. Petersburg from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday at the Mahaffey Theater, 400 First St. S. The stop is part of a 10-city tour during the 2008 campaign season. Join the audience for the live taping of the longest-running public affairs program on PBS. Panelists include Gloria Borger, senior political analyst for CNN and columnist for U.S. News and World Report; Jeanne Cummings, chief money and lobbying correspondent for Politico; James Barnes, political correspondent forNational Journal; and Todd Purdum, national editor and political correspondent forVanity Fair.
