Needed: Used Golf cart and horse trailer

The Arc Nature Coast is in great need of a used, working golf cart for its job enclave program. Also, the POSSE equestrian program needs a used goose-neck horse trailer that would hold three to four horses. All donations are tax-deductible up to the limit of the IRS code. homeless coalition plans to discuss outcome of census
The Hernando County Continuum of Care of the Mid Florida Homeless Coalition will meet from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the Children's Advocacy Center of Hernando at the Mid Florida Community Services Inc., 880 Kennedy Blvd. The group will discuss the outcome of the point-in-time homeless census, as well as information about the Kids Central Independent Living Program. Peak season to bring increase in park fee
Hernando County Parks Department will begin charging the annual peak season parking fee at Pine Island/Alfred McKethan Park starting Monday. The park is on Pine Island Drive, west of Weeki Wachee. The parking fee will be $2 per vehicle daily, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fees will continue through Nov. 14. Annual parking passes, which also include parking at Rogers Park on Shoal Line Boulevard, are available for $40. Passes can be purchased at the Tax Collector's Westside office in Spring Hill and at the Parks Department at the Hernando County Government Center. Call 754-4027.
