LARGO - Ashley Wilson scored 38 and Lakeland Christian earned a 67-42 victory over Indian Rocks Christian. The Golden Eagles (15-13) took a 2-0 lead but the Vikings (23-4) scored the next 10 and Indian Rocks never got closer than an 18-12 deficit at the end of the first quarter. "We could not hit a shot in the first half," IRC coach Phil Farver said. "We had some good looks but they didn't fall, and against that team you can't afford to miss shots." Lakeland Christian began to clamp down on defense in the second quarter, forcing the Golden Eagles into turnovers and holding them to four points in the quarter to take a 32-16 halftime lead. In the third quarter Taylor exploded for 16 points as the Vikings eventually pushed the lead to 30. Jessica White added 16 points for Lakeland Christian and Meredith Monti led the Golden Eagles with 17. Corey Long, Times correspondent
