All's fair: The Pasco County Fair will be Monday through Feb. 24 at the fairgrounds off State Road 52, on the west side of Dade City. Events start with a parade through downtown at 1 p.m. Monday and continue at the fairgrounds from 3 to 11 p.m. Monday through Feb. 22, 8 a.m. to midnight Feb. 23 and noon to 7 p.m. Feb. 24, with live entertainment, a carnival and other events and activities. Admission is $7 for 13 and older, $4 for 12 and younger. Parking is free.

Idol time:Heather Golf and Country Club, 7406 St. Andrews Blvd., north of Weeki Wachee, will present its "Heather Idol" singing contest at 6 p.m. Feb. 22. Tickets are $7 at the club office. Light food will be served, and a cash bar will be available. Call 596-5344 for information.
