Quilts, handmade items at show

Sundance Park's Quilt & Craft Group, the Sew and Sews, will be having its second annual quilt show from 1 to 4 p.m. Feb. 24 in the Sundance Park Clubhouse on County Road 54 east of U.S. 301 in Zephyrhills.

There will be new quilts shown as well as numerous hand-crafted and quilted gift items for sale.

Artists invited to first Art Festival

The Wesley Chapel Chamber of Commerce has announced Wesley Chapel's first Art Festival, which is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 19 at the Wesley Chapel District Park. Local artists are invited to this juried art show and there will be musical entertainment as well as a children's art display and a cake decorating contest. Artists are being invited to apply for a booth at this event, and blues groups can audition. For information, call the chamber at (813) 994-8534.
