Campfire Night Feb. 29 to offer songs and treats

SEMINOLE Lake Seminole Presbyterian Church, 8505 113th St., Seminole, invites the community to a campfire night at 7 p.m. Feb. 29. PINELLAS PARK Church puts word out: Bring a friend Sunday Good Samaritan Church, 6085 Park Blvd., Pinellas Park, will hold a "Bring a Friend Sunday" at 10:30 a.m. Feb. 24. For the "Oscar Sunday" service, worshipers will walk on a red carpet, sing music from the movies and see a dramatic presentation by Pastor Sue Sherwood. Refreshments will be served. TAMPA BAY AREA Unitarians kick off Florida marketing blitz The Unitarian Universalist Church of St. Petersburg, with other Unitarian Universalist congregations in the Tampa Bay area and the national Unitarian Universalist Association, has launched a $240,000 marketing campaign in Florida this month. The campaign includes television commercials on programs such as Oprah, Dr. Phil, The Colbert Report and Daily Show; newspaper inserts, radio, direct mail, billboards and print ads in community and specialty papers.
