The GFWC Woman's Club of Tarpon Springs invites women to its monthly luncheon at 11:30 a.m. March 5 at the Cypress Run Golf Club, 2669 St. Andrews Blvd., Tarpon Springs.

The luncheon will feature a nutrition and health fair, and art scholarships will be awarded to local students.

Those attending are asked to bring small stuffed animals to be used in the Citizen's Alliance for Progress Center's Easter baskets.

Luncheon cost is $16. The deadline for reservations is Feb. 27.

The Clearwater Civitan Club meets in the Racquet room of the Countryside Country Club, 3001 Countryside Blvd., Clearwater.

Visitors are welcome at the 6:30 p.m. meetings held the first and third Tuesday of each month.

At this month's meeting on Tuesday, Jane Maxwell, a representative of the Global Climate Project, will speak on global warming.
