3 men found dead in former juke joint

PALATKA - Authorities are investigating the deaths of three men at a hangout near Palatka. Major Keith Riddick of the Putman County Sheriff's Office says a resident found the victims Saturday morning in a building that used to be licensed as a neighborhood juke joint. It closed down several years ago but residents say people go there to shoot pool, play poker and hang out at night. Authorities have not disclosed the men's identities or causes of deaths. Detectives are pursuing leads and do not yet have any suspects.
