Vice president, health care management services, Amerigroup Community Care
Diane Smeltzer, a 25-year veteran in provider care and senior administration, joins Amerigroup, a Tampa health insurance company. Smeltzer was area vice president of operations at CareCentrix; senior vice president of operations at Health Integrated; and was vice president of care management at CareSource Management Group. She earned a bachelor's degree from Indiana University and a master's degree from Xavier University. She's a member of the American Association of Ambulatory Care Nursing, the American Organization of Nurse Executives and the American Association of Managed Care Nurses.
David Braughton
CEO and president, Crisis Center of Tampa Bay
David Braughton joins the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay, a Tampa nonprofit comprehensive mental health agency, after serving as regional director for the eastern United States at Foresters. Braughton was executive director for Latchkey Service, which is now known as R'Club; and was executive director of Lutheran Services of Florida. Braughton, 55, earned a bachelor's degree from Augustana College and a master's degree in social work from the University of Chicago. He is a member of the Sand Pine School Advisory Committee and is a graduate of Leadership St. Petersburg and Leadership Tampa Bay. He lives in Wesley Chapel.
Mark D. Kramer
President and CEO, Senior Care Group Inc.
Mark Kramer has been promoted at Senior Care Group Inc., a Tampa nonprofit organization that provides housing and health care to the elderly, after serving as executive vice president. Kramer, a certified public accountant, was senior manager in the healthcare service group at Coopers & Lybrand and was co-founder and shareholder at Affiliated Rehabilitation Inc., where he was treasurer and chief financial officer. Kramerearned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Siena College and has served on the board of the American Red Cross and the Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
Melissa Seixas
Community relations manager, Progress Energy Florida
Melissa Seixas has been promoted at Progress Energy Florida. Seixas joined Progress Energy Florida in 1986, starting as supporting distribution engineer, and most recently was a customer service manager for Pinellas and Pasco counties. Seixas earned a bachelor's degree from Eckerd College and a master's degree from the University of South Florida. She serves on the Progress Energy Heart Gallery, the Dr. Carter G. Woodson African American Museum advisory board, the Pinellas Living Green steering committee and the Council of Neighborhood Associations.

Ron Christaldi has been reappointed board treasurer for the Tampa Club. Christaldi is chairman of the health care practice group at Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick LLP, Tampa.
David Krouk has been named a partner at Butler Pappas Weihmuller Katz Craig LLP, Tampa, Krouk concentrates in the areas of third-party liability and third-party extracontractual claims.
Hill Ward Henderson, Tampa, announces that R. Craig Mayfieldand Patrick J. Rischhave been elected shareholders. Mayfield is a member of the firm's litigation group and concentrates in the areas of product liability and complex tort claims; and Risch is a member of the firm's real property litigation group and concentrates in the areas of will and trust disputes, and claims involving noncompetition and nonsolicitation covenants.

The Gulf Coast Museum of Art announces these appointments. Carolyn Klova, curator of education; Stephanie Meyer Heydt, curator of collections and exhibitions; Jeff O'Kelley, marketing/communications coordinator.
