Company: Johnson & Johnson and Novartis AG's Sandoz.

Quantity: Undisclosed.

Why?Manufacturing defects may cause leaks that can lead to fatal overdoses.

What models? Duragesic and Sandoz pain patches that release 25 micrograms of fentanyl in an hour. The expiration dates are on or before December 2009.

Where sold? Various places.

Ford SUVs and vans

Company: Ford Motor Co.

Quantity: 181,000.

Why? In the SUVs, the spring system in the inside door handles could break, creating a risk of the door latch opening in a crash. In the vans, the engine's fuel rail crossover hose, which connects fuel rails, could crack and leak fuel.

What models? Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator SUVs from the 2007-2008 model years, and 2006-2007 E-150, E-250 and E-350 vans.

Icy Hot therapy products

Why? The company has received reports of burns and skin irritation resulting from consumer use or misuse.

What models? All lots and all sizes of Icy Hot Heat Therapy Air Activated Heat-Back; Icy Hot Heat Therapy Air Activated Heat-Arm, Neck, and Leg; Icy Hot Heat Therapy Air Activated Heat-Arm, Neck, and Leg single consumer use "samples" included on a limited promotional basis in cartons of 3-ounce Aspercreme Pain Relieving Creme.

Where sold? Through food, drug and mass merchandisers.

Shiitake & sesame vinaigrette

Company: Annie's Naturals.

Why? The product could contain soy sauce and sesame that were not declared. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to soy run the risk of serious allergic reaction.

What models? Products that have a front label that says "Shiitake & Sesame Vinaigrette," but the back label and ingredient statement say "Low Fat Honey Mustard Vinaigrette." Only dressings with UPC # 0-92325-33319-2 with a Best By Date of 02/20/09/1/E and 02/20/09/2/E are affected.

Where sold? Various grocery and natural food stores.

Vegetable products in cans

Company: New Era Canning Co.

Quantity: Undisclosed.

Why? Could be contaminated by Clostridium botulinum bacterium spores, which can cause life-threatening illness.

Remote-controlled helicopter toys
Company: Soft Air USA Inc.
Quantity: 30,000.
Why? The rechargeable battery contained inside the helicopter can catch fire during charging, igniting the helicopter and nearby combustible materials. This poses a burn or fire hazard.
What models? The remote-controlled helicopter toy “Fun2Fly Microcopter” with item number 91001. The helicopter comes with a transmitter that controls and recharges the helicopter. The helicopter is made of foam and plastic and measures about 6 ½ inches by 2 ½ inches. The transmitter measures about 4 1/2 inches by 5 inches. “Fun2Fly” and “Microcopter” are printed on the packaging. The item number is printed above the UPC label.
Where sold? Sporting goods stores and other retailers.

Karl Kani boys fleece hoody sweatshirts
Company: Siegfried & Parzifal Inc.
Quantity: 5,000.
Why? The garments have a drawstring through the hood thatposes a strangulation hazard to children.
What models? Karl Kani boys full-zip fleece hoody sweatshirts with model numbers MB7808, MB7809, MB7810, MB7812. The model numbers were printed on the original hang tag. The words “Kani Polo” are printed on the sweatshirt neck tag. The sweatshirts were sold in various colors including, blue, gray, black, red and brown in boy’s sizes small (8-10) and medium (12-14).
Where sold? A&E Store, DD Discount, Forman Mills, The Marmaxx Groups and Suit Mart stores.

GE gas clothes dryers
Company: GE Consumer & Industrial.
Quantity: 2,100.
Why? A short circuit in the dryer’s wiring poses a shock hazard to consumers with ungrounded dryers.
What models? The dryers are 42 inches tall (back with backsplash) and 27 inches wide and were sold in white. GE gas dryers model number DWXR463GGWW with serial numbers starting with AM, TL, SL, VL and ZL are included in this recall. To find the model and serial numbers, open the dryer door and look in the upper right corner, in the area that was covered by the door.
Where sold? Retail stores and authorized builder distributors.
