Nelson vouches for McCain's integrity
By Times staff writer
Published February 23, 2008
Republican Sen. John McCain's integrity was defended Friday - by Florida's Democratic U.S. senator. Sen. Bill Nelson, speaking to the Suncoast Tiger Bay Club, endorsed McCain as a man of integrity. Then, Nelson also endorsed the Democratic contenders, Sens. Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. "All three of them are people of great integrity," Nelson said, responding to a question from St. Petersburg Times Chairman, CEO and Editor Paul Tash about reports that McCain did favors for a female lobbyist. "Any one of the three would make a good president."

OK now who will vouch for Nelson? Anyone remember last year's McCain/Kennedy/Martinez Amnesty scam?

This guy has done nothing but sponsor and back "feel good" bills. The only bills he sponsored deal with forming commissions to study something. There is no bold action coming out of this guy. He's a stick-in-the-mud and a speedbump to progress in FL.

Bill Nelson is a man w/o integrity. He signed a petition attacking a citizen of this country's right to free speech, he's for amnesty to illegals, and can't talk very well. Please vote him out for somebody who will back the people - not silence them
