Luncheon will let you show marketing efforts

Members of the Largo/Mid-Pinellas Chamber of Commerce are invited to display their best marketing items at the annual Logo Business Luncheon from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 11 at East Bay Country Club, 702 Country Club Drive. There will be a contest for the most innovative entry.

People who submit marketing items will also have the opportunity to promote their business.

Guest speaker Dan Lewis, chief executive officer of Profit Gate Inc., will offer tips on how to better market business Web sites. This will include looking at ways to gain top positioning on the most-used search engines.

Cost is $10 for members who preregister by March 7, $15 for nonmembers and members at the door.

Cups of coffee come with business leads

The monthly Coffee An'Networking, a business leads program, will be held 8-9 a.m. March 6 at Beef O'Brady's, Pinellas Shopping Center, 841 West Bay Drive.

A networking exercise and door prizes will be featured.

Cost is free for members, $10 for nonmembers.

Free workshop targets fledgling businesses

Learn all about growing your business at a free workshop titled "How to Make Your Business Thrive, Not Just Survive" from 6 to 8 p.m. March 11 in the Jenkins Wing at the Largo Public Library, 120 Central Park Drive.

This workshop is intended for business owners in the first few years of operation. It contains tips and advice for building a stronger business, using the business disciplines of money, management and marketing.
