Company: Hallmark/Westland Meat Packing Co.

Quantity: 143.4-million pounds.

Why? The cattle used to make the meat products did not receive complete and proper inspection.

What models? Meat products with Westland, Regal, King Meat and Hallmark brands. See www.fsis.usda.gov/PDF/Recall_005-2008_Release.pdf for the list.

Where sold? Stores and school systems via wholesale distributors.

Pokemon Valentine cards and pops

Company: Sherwood Brands LLC.

Quantity: 400,000 packages.

Why? Metal fragments were found in two lollipops bought in Florida.

What models? Packages of 10 and 30 Valentine cards and lollipops featuring a variety of characters, items no. 073964209109 and 073964289804.

Where sold? Retailers.

Nutri-Foods Organic Sesame Seeds Natural — Unhulled

Quantity: Undisclosed.
Why? They may have salmonella contamination, an organism that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people and others with weakened immune systems.
What models? “Organic Sesame Seeds Natural — Unhulled” in a half-pound clear plastic package with a product SKU #170 at the top and a “packed on” date of Dec. 28.
Where sold? Various stores.

Fentanyl transdermal system CII patches
Company: Actavis Inc.
Quantity: 14 lots.
Why? The product may have a foldover defect that may cause the patch to leak and expose patients or caregivers directly to the fentanyl gel. Exposure to fentanyl gel may lead to serious adverse events, including respiratory depression and possible overdose, which may be fatal.
What models? What models? The electric oscillating tower heaters with the name “Aloha Breeze” printed on the top. The white heaters have model number 02044 and dates codes 06/06, 06/07, 06/08 or 06/09. Model numbers and date codes are printed on the silver label located on the back of the heater, near the bottom.
Where sold? Wal-Mart and small retail chain stores.

Polaris all-terrain vehicles (ATVs)

Why? The ATVs can have defective Electronic Control Modules (ECM) that overheat, posing a fire and burn hazard to riders.

Cinderella 12-volt electric ride-on vehicles

Why? The wires under the hood of the car and/or in the battery compartment under the seat can short circuit, posing a fire and burn hazard.
What models? The electric ride-on toy resembles the Pontiac Solstice. It is light blue and has Cinderella graphics on the front and sides. The wheels, steering wheel and two seats are pink. The white dashboard may contain an optional radio. “Pontiac Solstice” is printed on the back of the car. “Walt Disney’s Cinderella Special Edition” is printed on the license plate. It is designed for children 4 to 7 years old.

Why? Surface paint on the pearl white beads of the bracelet contains excessive levels of lead.
What models? The bracelets have a silver-colored chain and silver-colored charms, including a Bible, angel, cross, heart and praying hands. The bracelets were sold with clear, crystal and pearl white beads. The recalled sets include a bracelet for a girl to wear, along with a smaller, matching bracelet for her doll.
Where sold? Specialty toy, book, and gift stores.

Why? Spindles on the drop-side of the crib could loosen, creating a gap that poses an entrapment and strangulation hazard.
What models? The full-size, drop-side crib from the Wendy Bellissimo Hidden Hills collection, model number 5446-0504. The model number is located on the bottom rail of the headboard. The crib was sold in a Navajo Pine finish.
