Hudson Rotary garage sale to benefit local groups

The Hudson Rotary Club will have a garage sale March 1 in front of Braybrook Assisted Care center and Regions Bank on the south side of State Road 52 in Hudson. There will be household items, furniture and clothing, and proceeds will benefit local service programs.

The Hudson Rotary Club meets each Thursday at noon at the Beacon Woods Community Center on Clock Tower Road in the Beacon Woods section of Hudson-Bayonet Point. Call the Rev. William Dopp at (727) 863-8560.

Land O'Lakes

Chamber business expo begins March 7

The Central Pasco Chamber of Commerce will have its annual Business Expo on March 7 and 8 at the Land O'Lakes Recreation Complex, 3032 Collier Parkway. Hours are 4 to 7 p.m. March 7 and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 8. On March 8, in conjunction with the Business Expo, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. will be the Taste of The Town with specialties from local restaurants being offered at $1 per sample or $5 for six tickets. Speaker, musician highlights program

Jennifer Rothschild, an inspirational speaker and musician, will present a program at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Student Community Center on the campus of Saint Leo University on State Road 52. The program is free; however, reservations are recommended. Call (352) 588-8572.

Holiday

Bingo, leap year dance set for this week

The Knights of Columbus, Father Farrell Council #6476 offers nonsmoking bingo at 1 p.m. today. Lunch is available as the doors open at 11 a.m. The hall is at 2040 Grand Blvd., in Holiday.

A dinner/dance with a leap year theme is set for Friday. Richie V will be playing and tickets, $11 for both, or $5 for dance only will be available at the door. Doors open at 4 p.m. with dinner at 5 and the show at 7. Call (727) 934-9025.
