GAINESVILLE - Urban Meyer must have been impressed with the Michigan secondary during the Wolverines' victory over his Gators in the Capital One Bowl. Meyer went out and hired the coach. Vance Bedford became Florida's secondary coach Tuesday. He has 15 years of collegiate experience, and although he comes to UF after just one year with Michigan, he was the Wolverines' secondary coach from 1995-98. He also spent six years coaching in the NFL. Meyer's relationship with Bedford dates to their days at Colorado State in the late 1980s and early '90s. Bedford is the final hire for three Florida vacancies.
