Districtwide: Superintendent Dr. Wayne Alexander will host town hall meetings at 7 p.m. March 3 at the Lorenzo Hamilton Community Center, 899 Kennedy Blvd., Brooksville, and at 6 p.m. March 5 at BPO Elks Lodge 2582, 14494 Cortez Blvd., Brooksville.
Fox Chapel Middle School: Dads and children share breakfast and conversation at the All Pro Dads Breakfast at 7-7:30 a.m. Friday in the Media Center.
Nature Coast Technical School: A Pre-Prom Fashion Show is 6 p.m. March 15 in the school's courtyard, 4057 California St., Brooksville. Proceeds go to the Brooksville and Spring Hill Relay for Life for the American Cancer Society.
Students and staff will be modeling prom attire. There will be a trade show with area businesses showcasing prom goods and services, door prizes, food, music, a chocolate fountain, and an ice cream social.

Moton Elementary School: Eckerd Youth Hi-5 Family Night is 5:30-7:30 tonight in the cafeteria.
WREC will offer scholarships in '08
Withlacoochee River Electric Cooperative is offering scholarships to high school seniors in its service territory in Pasco, Hernando, Citrus, Sumter and Polk counties. Scholarships are $6,000 each and are awarded at $750 per semester. The deadline is March 14, and applications are available at any local cooperative office, high school guidance offices or at www.wrec.net.
SPRING HILL
Flag retirement ceremony planned
Springstead High School's ROTC unit will conduct a flag retirement ceremony from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 16 at the school, 3300 Mariner Blvd.The cadets will perform the ceremony during each of their seven classes throughout the day, so interested individuals can attend any one of the seven. All visitors must sign in at the office. The ceremonies will be outdoors, near the school's football field. Those wishing to donate their old, worn and tattered flags can drop them off at the school through April 1. For information, call Maj. Dennis Jolissaint at 797-7010, ext. 235.
