Development forum: The Tampa Downtown Partnership hosts its 12th annual Downtown Development Forum to discuss the latest trends in urban development and how it helps downtown Tampa. The forum will include experts in the areas of transportation, commercial office, retail, multifamily housing and hospitality. The keynote speaker will be Christopher Leinberger, author of a study that listed the Tampa Bay area as the least walkable metropolitan area in the country. 7:30 a.m. to noon, Friday, Tampa Convention Center, 333 S Franklin St., Tampa; admission is $60 for members of the Tampa Downtown Partnership and $70 for potential members.
