PORT RICHEY Beware, red light runners. The first of three cameras designed to catch dangerous drivers will be installed on March 19. The camera will be positioned on the south side of U.S. 19 near Ridge Road, officials say. Port Richey police will be able to review a video clip and determine if a driver ran the light. If so, the driver will be sent a $125 ticket. Drivers who don't believe they broke the law can go online and watch a 12-second clip of themselves sailing through the intersection. Don't worry just yet, though: Drivers will be sent warnings for the first 30 days after the camera is installed. Tickets won't be issued until mid April. COUNTYWIDE Corley wants to keep elections job Brian Corley is running in this year's election in hopes of keeping his job as the county's supervisor of elections. The incumbent filed the necessary paperwork earlier this week. Corley, a Republican, was appointed to the job last year by Gov. Charlie Crist after the governor tapped Kurt Browning to become Secretary of State. Patricia A. Carroll, a lawyer and a Democrat, also is running. The job pays $117,000 a year. The election is Nov. 4. LAND O'LAKES Woman charged with cultivating pot A 35-year-old Land O'Lakes woman was arrested Tuesday and charged with cultivation of marijuana after Pasco sheriff's deputies said they found more than 70 marijuana plants growing in her home on Ehren Cutoff. Mary Mitchell had converted two rooms of her home into "grow rooms," complete with timers, lights and an air-conditioning unit, according to deputies. Mitchell told deputies she grew the plants for her own personal use, according to the arrest report.

The illegal RLC they mean. By the way don't do any right turns on red without coming to a complete stop because they cite for that too. Also stopping over the stop line as well. People will find that these are more a scam than a safety device.
