$500,000 study is stop sign for bypass Feb. 9, story

I read your article about the latest issues with the east-west road and thought it was interesting. One thing overlooked in this entire matter is the route chosen.

When they first started looking at routes, there were several potentials. Considering the excessive cost, why not revisit the site selection? Maybe there is a less expensive alternative.

Driving through the area every day, I never understood why they didn't use County Line Road to hook up with Interstate 275.

There is plenty of vacant land and it is not too far north.

Seems like it could be done with less expense.
