Today's Letters: Seems like there's a better way to go

$500,000 study is stop sign for bypass Feb. 9, story I read your article about the latest issues with the east-west road and thought it was interesting. One thing overlooked in this entire matter is the route chosen. When they first started looking at routes, there were several potentials. Considering the excessive cost, why not revisit the site selection? Maybe there is a less expensive alternative. Driving through the area every day, I never understood why they didn't use County Line Road to hook up with Interstate 275. There is plenty of vacant land and it is not too far north. Seems like it could be done with less expense. Richard M. Egan, West Meadows

That would make to much sence. Did you just move here? We usually take to most expensive route and spend a min of 500k to study stop signs. Tampa built the Green Emerald highway to OZ so questioning us is just plain silly! If they only had a brain!
