Scouting report: USF has won its past two meetings with Rutgers and is looking for its first Big East road win in three seasons in the league. The Bulls have won the last two against Rutgers by a combined 45 points. The team's scoring title is coming down to the wire, with center Kentrell Gransberry (16.7 points) barely ahead of surging freshman guard Dominique Jones, who scored 31 against Seton Hall to raise his average to 16.6. Guard Jesus Verdejo has emerged as a third scoring threat, getting double figures in the past six games, along with a career-best seven assists against Seton Hall. Rutgers counters with forward JR Inman, who leads the team with 12.6 points and 7.1 rebounds. A win gives the Bulls as many league victories as they had last season. The Bulls play at Villanova on Wednesday and finish the season at home against Notre Dame on March 8.
