USF vs. Pittsburgh
When/where: 7; Sun Dome, Tampa
TV/radio: Catch 47; 1010-AM
Records: USF 13-14, 3-11 Big East; Pittsburgh 19-8, 9-5
Scouting report: USF has been all but eliminated from the Big East tournament, needing to win its last two and get help from Georgetown and Seton Hall, who remain ahead of it in the standings. Pittsburgh has been USF's nemesis in the Big East, going 4-0 against the Bulls, including a pair of two-point buzzer-beater losses two years ago. Pittsburgh has a strong 1-2 punch in guard Shavonte Zellous (18.9 points) and physical center Marcedes Walker, who averages a double double. USF has leaned heavily on guard Shantia Grace, who averages a team-best 18.3 points. It's Senior Night to honor the final home game for forward ChiChi Okpaleke, the team's leading rebounder at 6.5 per game, and guard Daiane Packer, who has been a perimeter threat, mostly off the bench. USF finishes the regular season Monday at Marquette.
