Florida Native Plant Society: 7 p.m. Monday, Hernando County Cooperative Extension Service, 19490 Oliver St. The presentation will be "Hammocks and Rare Plants in the Withlacoochee Forest," by Colleen Werner of the Withlacoochee State Forest ecology unit. German-American Club of Spring Hill: Membership meeting, 7 p.m. Thursday, Hernando Shrine Club, 13400 Montour St. An appreciation dinner will be from 1 to 5 p.m. March 9 at the Timber Pines Lodge; members only.
