The College Fund of Pinellas County elected its officers for 2008 on Feb. 22 at the Largo Public Library. They are James Cordea, treasurer; Audrey Scheidenhelm, first vice president, Bette Ra Ivey, recording secretary; Doris Breuning, second vice president; Robert Rankine, president; and Sharron Rankine, third vice president. Not pictured: William Athanson, assistant treasurer; and Lawrence Poindexter, corresponding secretary. *** The Newcomers Club of Greater Dunedin will present its annual fashion show fundraiser at 11 a.m. March 13 at Dunedin Country Club, 1050 Palm Blvd. For details and reservations call Carol Bickford at (727) 781-0546. *** The Creative Artists Guild recently donated $200 to the Dunedin Fine Art Center. Guild chairman Beverly Woofter presented the check to associate executive director Ken Hannon, who accepted the gift on behalf of the center. *** The Clearwater Shell Club, Suncoast Conchologists, will host a single specimen shell show at its regular meeting at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 2001 Rainbow Drive, Clearwater. Guests are welcome to attend the meeting and show. Exhibition entries are limited to members and will include Florida and international specimens.
