Weekly arts and crafts at senior center

Oldsmar Parks and Recreation is offering a new weekly arts and crafts class from 10 to 11:30 a.m. starting Tuesday at the Oldsmar Senior Center, 127 State St. W. Participants will work on a variety of projects. The cost is $5 with a recreation card, $7.50 without. Call (813) 749-1260.

Parents can have a night out March 15

Plan a date night. Oldsmar is offering a "Parents Night Out" from 5 to 11 p.m. March 15 at the Bicentennial Park Recreation Center, 423 Lafayette Blvd. The center will have a variety of activities for children 5 to 12. The cost is $10 per child with a recreation card. Call (813) 749-1260.

Superintendent to speak at breakfast

The Rotary Club of East Lake Sunrise will meet at 7:30 a.m. Thursday at the Tarpon Woods Golf and Country Club, 1100 Tarpon Woods Blvd. Clayton Wilcox, superintendent of Pinellas County Schools, will discuss county education issues. Test your flapjack making skills

If you have a good pancake flipping arm, the Palm Harbor Kiwanis Club can put you in the middle of the action. The group provides the labor for numerous breakfasts to benefit schools and other charities. Meet some members of Florida Conservation Photographers at an opening of their photography show from 1 to 2 p.m. today at the Brooker Creek Preserve Environmental Education Center, 3940 Keystone Road. Doctor to discuss MS and headaches

The North Pinellas MS Self Help Group will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Hospice of the Florida Suncoast, 2675 Tampa Road. Dr. Harish Patel, a neurologist, will discuss multiple sclerosis and headaches. Jenna Labadie, the National MS Society's director of public policy, will talk about changing the views of the Florida Legislature in regard to multiple sclerosis.
