Hernando Green Party to show film Thank You for Smoking: 6 p.m., Spring Hill Branch/Harold G. Zopp Memorial Library, 9220 Spring Hill Drive, Spring Hill. Based on the novel by Christopher Buckley, this dark comedy stars Aaron Eckhart as Nick Naylor, the chief spokesman for the Academy of Tobacco Studies, who fights to keep America's right to smoke - even if it kills him - while remaining a role model for his 12-year-old son. The film also stars Robert Duvall, William H. Macy, Rob Lowe and Katie Holmes. Refreshments will be served. Free. 666-7576.

Library to show Dreamgirls film: 2 p.m., East Hernando Branch Library, 6457 Windmere Road, Ridge Manor West. The 2006 movie is rated PG-13. Based on the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical about a trio of black female soul singers from Chicago that goes on to be a crossover hit on the pop charts in the early 1960s. The film, which won two Oscars, stars Jamie Foxx, Beyonc Knowles, Eddie Murphy and Jennifer Hudson. Light refreshments will be served. Free. 754-4443.
