HUDSON Super Wal-Mart will open Friday The county's newest Wal-Mart Supercenter will open at 7:30 a.m. Friday. The nearly 211,550-square-foot store, located at 12610 U.S. 19 just north of Beacon Woods Drive, will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and will feature a grocery store, Tire & Lube Express, a hair salon, SunTrust Bank branch and a restaurant. In a news release, company officials tout the store's design - pineapple reliefs decorate the entrances - and its environmental features, including stained concrete floors that are specially designed to require little maintenance. The store employs 400 associates. The manager of the store is James Schroder, who began his Wal-Mart career more than six years ago as an overnight stocker at the Port Richey store and worked his way into management.
