Terry Bollea, a.k.a. Hulk Hogan, and wife Linda put son Nick in the middle of their squabble.

CLEARWATER - The latest skirmish in the divorce of Hulk Hogan and his wife puts their son, Nick Bollea, in the middle.

Both Linda Bollea and her estranged husband have asked a judge to prohibit the other from speaking to Nick, 17, about the divorce proceeding.

Linda Bollea struck first with a Feb. 22 motion.

Among her accusations: She says the famous wrestler told their son to persuade her to sell the family's home in Belleair to pay legal bills stemming from Nick's Aug. 26 car crash.

Linda Bollea currently resides in the home and does not want to sell it.

Nick is facing a felony charge of reckless driving with serious bodily injury for his role in the crash, which seriously injured his friend and passenger, John Graziano, 23. Graziano's family has indicated they will file a civil lawsuit against the Bollea family.

The motion also said Hogan, whose real name is Terry Bollea, gave Nick information involving the divorce proceedings and told Nick not to tell his mother. The result is Nick has become "withdrawn and conflicted" when he's around his mom, the motion said.

Terry Bollea responded Feb. 26 with some accusations of his own. They are:

- Linda Bollea has used Nick to give Terry Bollea messages on issues dealing with the divorce.

- Linda Bollea has "engaged in highly emotional and degrading outbursts," and made derogatory remarks about Terry Bollea in front of Nick.

"A satisfactory agreement has been reached" between Linda and Terry Bollea on how to address the request to keep each other from speaking to Nick about divorce-related issues, said A.J. Barranco, Linda Bollea's attorney. Barranco declined to discuss the details.

He also said both parties have decided how to proceed with other issues related to the divorce. The stipulation was approved by Circuit Judge George Greer on Feb. 26.

Barranco said both parties agreed to "a free exchange of financial information" and to "certain monies being kept by each party" while the divorce proceeds. He would not specify how much money.

All remaining trusts would be frozen and Nick would continue to live primarily with his mother, Barranco said.

Ann Kerr, Terry Bollea's attorney, did not return calls for comment.

Hearings scheduled for February and April were canceled. The next hearing to address temporary issues will be in June, Barranco said.

First off..let's call him Terry, not Hulk...THE HULK was a fictional character capable of many feats unlike this dude. Terry, you need to live in the real world and know that it doesn't evolve around you, you are not your character but TERRY BOLLEA.

SPtimes should move on to more important news, finding fresh - maybe even a good news story - guess they don't sell papers. What can I say. Boella, Boella, Boella -
by lb 03/05/08 08:50 PM
Nick should have already been out on a tour of High Schools teaching young people the dangers of driving drunk, street racing and the importance of wearing seat belts every time and how it feels to be responsible for ruining a friends life.

we all say....WHO CARES...but we [ and that includes me as well] still read the article.
by Beverly 03/05/08 06:44 PM
Isn't this kid old enough to decide who he wants to live with and when does he turn 18, before this divorce will be final, then tell him to get out and earn his own living.
by Jamie 03/05/08 06:11 PM
Seems like there is alot of parent bashing, and bashing Nick in general. Nick is responsible for his wreck, and should be punished, but I guess the people who are yelling the loudest has forgotten that his friend WASN'T wearing his seatbelt.

I have read enough about the hogans. Give me a fresh news story like a former city manager wants a sex change or something. I can't read anymore about them. I need a Steve update now.

DON'T CARE. READ THE nATIONAL iNQUIRER IF YO ULIKE THIS CRUD.
by Lenore 03/05/08 03:16 PM
?,Why yes I do expect Nick to lock himself in his room for the rest of his life. That is how John will be spending the rest of his life. Nick is withdrawn and conflicted. Too bad he couldn't display that when he put a friend in a coma.

Mark, how is this a publicity stunt? The Hogans' lawyers don't even comment, the stupid paper is the thing that wants to print week old court details. Pretty sure the Hogan's would just as soon not have every detail public, it's no one's business.
by Jo 03/05/08 02:09 PM
Shame on two "adults" who have to ask a Judge on how they can speak to their almost 18 year old son??? These two "parents" love publicity and air their behavior with pleasure. Don't act like you're concerned now with your son's feelings.
by stateandcity 03/05/08 01:41 PM
Why are asking why this is in the papers? The Bollea's are local and when you are a celebrity your life is an open book. That's celebrity life! Deal with it!
by Hoshi 03/05/08 01:16 PM
WHO CARES!!!

The result of Linda and Terry Bollea is 2 high school dropouts with loser parents. The tradition continues.
by Craig 03/05/08 12:38 PM
Who is the Who person and why does he care so much?
by PAT 03/05/08 12:35 PM
DO NOT GET REELED IN BY THE OL'BAIT AND SWITCH. THESE 2 HAVE GREAT LAWYERS AND THOSE LAWYERS KNOW THE LAW. THROW UP THE SMOKE, PLACE THE MIRRORS AND GUESS WHO GETS LEFT BEHIND? JOHN G. AND FAMILY. THIS IS THE PLAN, SELF-DESTRUCT, THIS HOLLYWOOD BABY!
by Rodger 03/05/08 12:34 PM
This isnt news its ews. They better check the bottom of their shoes, I think they all just stepped in a big ole pile of themselves. If my son was anything like theirs he wouldnt be a problem to society, I would have buried him long ago.
by Willy 03/05/08 12:33 PM
This dreck is best left in tabloids. Shame!
by Mark 03/05/08 12:27 PM
Who really cares for more publicity stunts. Have they nothing better to do then get their face on more news sheets. Just let us know when Nick is in jail like any other common kid would be. I went thru divorce but did not a public nusiance of it.
by Sean 03/05/08 12:25 PM
I am sure Nick doesn't feel bad at all about putting his friend in a coma or w/e it is. Smon you guys are ridiculous. Him and John were going out racing. He knew what was going to happen.
by Carrie 03/05/08 12:20 PM
When things get tough, hide behind your kid (who is dealing with his own troubles.), That just doesn't sound right to me. Terri & Linda need to "Man Up" and stand together behind their son and help him get through, then play petty divorce games.
by jim 03/05/08 12:20 PM
i sure hope they get this wrapped up, my personal life is suffering. WHO CARES ABOUT THESE CLOWNS!!!!!
by me 03/05/08 12:17 PM
why is this news? is it because people who care don't have lives of their own. how about reporting things that really matter instead of something that is none of your business anyway.
by Kerry 03/05/08 12:12 PM
Why is this news? Who cares about the Hogan's personal lives.
by Dawe 03/05/08 11:58 AM
Tamara El-Khoury - keep this tabloid crap out of the NEWS paper. What is next - Britney?
by Oh My 03/05/08 11:53 AM
No surprise to me St Pete Times would print such garbage. Not the first time. How about some real news. Are you capable?
by ? 03/05/08 11:47 AM
If all of you are sick of hearing about this, dont read it.As far as Nick out shopping or laying on the beach, he does still have a life.I feel terrible for the John's family.Do you expect him to just lock himself in his room for the rest of his life?
by Debby 03/05/08 11:36 AM
WHOOOOOO CARES !!!!!!
by SB 03/05/08 11:04 AM
This seems to me like a ploy for sympathy for Nick. What about their daughter?
by Holly 03/05/08 10:56 AM
This is a "low rent" story; rubbish!
by AntonioFWW 03/05/08 10:46 AM
