Kutcher punks the media

Ashton Kutcher is turning his punking from celebrities to the rest of us. USA Today says Kutcher's new TV series, Pop Fiction, targets gullible gossipers, be they regular people or media types.
The show, which debuts Sunday on E!, was responsible for photos that surfaced recently of Paris Hilton with a robed, beaded "guru," who was really an actor who's been on CSI and My Name is Earl.
"We live in a culture that's driven by media and obsessed with celebrity, to the point where they don't have private lives anymore," co-producer Jason Goldberg says. "Two people going out to eat turns into, 'They're engaged.' It's a feeding frenzy. It's dangerous, and it's irresponsible in some cases."
We can't argue with that, but we must point out that Kucher and his TV production pals didn't seem to mind our driven media and celebrity obsessions when they did the celebrity practical joke show Punk'd.
Christian gets Posh
Victoria Beckham wasn't just blowing air kisses when she told Christian Siriano that she'd wear his clothes anywhere, any time after the designer was named the winner of Project Runway's fourth season.
Wednesday's finale ended with Siriano picked by the four judges for the title over Rami Kashu and Jillian Lewis. The day after, Siriano, 22, told People that next week he'll see Posh Spice, who was a guest judge, and he's made her a few dresses.
"Hopefully she likes them, so we'll see how it goes," he said. "And it's such an honor because she can wear any designer she wants."
'24' fix on the way
For all you 24 junkies out there who mourned the loss of a season of Jack Bauer and Co., take heart.
The Hollywood Reporter says Fox is developing a two-hour show to air this fall that will bridge the gap between the sixth season and the delayed seventh.
Eight episodes were in the can before the writers strike, but Fox elected to hold off airing until next January.
