Decomposed body found in empty home

DADE CITY

A badly decomposed body was found Wednesday night in an abandoned home on Fifth Street. The Dade City Police Department found the body in a bedroom underneath a mattress.

The sex, race, age or cause of death could not be immediately determined, authorities said.
