Men's hoops: USF up next

USF (12-18, 3-14) vs. No. 19 Notre Dame (23-6, 13-4) When/where: 7 p.m., Sun Dome, Tampa. TV/radio: 1250-AM. Scouting report: The Bulls will be hard-pressed to repeat last season's 69-63 upset of the Fighting Irish, who are just one game out of the conference lead. Notre Dame leads the Big East in scoring, assists and 3-pointers, but the highlight here will be a battle of the conference's top two rebounders. USF's Kentrell Gransberry will be one of three seniors honored before their final home game, along with walk-ons Eddie Lovett and Mohamed Esseghir. Gransberry, 6-foot-9 and 270 pounds, is averaging 16.1 points and 10.9 rebounds, while Notre Dame's Luke Harangody, 6-8 and 251, might be the league's MVP, averaging a conference-best 21.0 points and 10.4 rebounds. Notre Dame hasn't lost to an unranked team since November, when it lost to Baylor and Georgia Tech back-to-back.
