Church will host 'Girl Scout Sunday' event

Seminole

The Girl Scout troops of Pinellas County will hold their annual Girl Scout Sunday at 10:30 a.m. today at Lake Seminole Presbyterian Church, 8505 113th St., Seminole.

Jennie Jordan, community development manager for the Girl Scouts of West Central Florida, will talk about Scouting in Pinellas County. Eva Jones, president of the Seminole Rotary Club, also will speak. There will be local troop displays in the church's fellowship hall and a reception.

The church also is offering a series of video showings titled, "Holidays of God," 6 p.m. Wednesdays through March 26. Each session includes discussion and refreshments. Wednesday's topic will be Unleavened Bread; March 19, Spring Feasts; and March 26, A Promise Kept. Go to www.lakeseminolepc.org or call 727 391-5509.
