Logo Business Luncheon offers marketing advice

Display your best marketing items at the annual Logo Business Luncheon at East Bay Country Club, 702 Country Club Drive. The event will be from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday.

There will be a contest for the most innovative entry. Guest speaker Dan Lewis, chief executive of Profit Gate Inc., will offer tips on marketing business Web sites. It will include a look at ways to gain top positioning on the most-used search engines. Cost is $15 for nonmembers and members at the door. Entertainers will play at Artists' Market

Get your groove on at the Largo Central Park Artists' Market on Saturday and Sunday, thanks to members of the Largo/Mid-Pinellas Chamber of Commerce.

Entertainers and times are:

- Paul Skye: 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday

- Island Bill Haughey: 1 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday

- Colleen Clark & Company: 3 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday and 3 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday

- Johnny B.: 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday

- Tonya Shaw & Xpress Singers: 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Sunday

Workshop seeks to help newer businesses

Learn how to build your business at a free seminar called "How to Make Your Business Thrive, Not Just Survive" from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the Jenkins Wing at the Largo Public Library, 120 Central Park Drive.

This workshop is intended for business owners in the first few years of operation. It contains tips for building a stronger business, management and marketing.

Advance registration is required.
