New showroom will display LED only
Light Emotions Design LLC in Lutz announced that construction has started on the first lighting showroom in the United States that will feature only LED lighting solutions. Located at 23904 State Road 54, the Light Emotions showroom will display a diversity of LED light-emitting diodes lighting. Steven Crimi, founder of Light Emotions Design LLC, said the company is opening the showroom to demonstrate and display the benefits of LEDs in the lighting industry. LEDs are capable of creating almost any color light, including variations of white light; adjusting light levels to the desired amount; and being installed in places never before imagined.
The LLF LR6 down light, which uses 85 percent less energy than a conventional light bulb and can last up to 20 years, will make it possible for Light Emotions to be lit entirely by LEDs. No other form of artificial light will be used in the showroom.
The showroom will also serve as a resource center for lighting designers and architects. For information on LEDs visit www.netl.doe.gov/ssl/usingLeds.
