PINELLAS PARK - The two young children of a pregnant woman who was stabbed to death at a mobile home park Friday are being cared for by family members.

Anna Marie Kasvicis' children - Sabrina, 7, and Nathan, 4 - are being cared for by their father and his parents, said Sharon Lacquey, Kasvicis' aunt.

Kasvicis, 22 and two months pregnant, was stabbed in the chest after she dropped off some groceries at Robert Piccolo's home at Palace Mobile Home Park on 54th Avenue N. According to a witness, Kasvicis was stabbed by Christopher Robertson, 41, who was staying with Piccolo, 20, at the time of the slaying.

On Saturday, Pinellas sheriff's deputies arrested Robertson in a carport at the mobile home park, not far from where Kasvicis was killed.

Robertson later confessed to killing her, deputies said. He is being held without bail at the Pinellas County Jail.

On Sunday, Lacquey was at the Pinellas Park home of her parents, Charles and Anna Beaver, making funeral arrangements.

The Beavers, Kasvicis' grandparents, had raised her since she was a year old, Lacquey said. The 2004 Gibbs High School graduate was a hardworking single mom, Lacquey said. She had just completed new employee orientation at the Cracker Barrel on 54th Avenue N on the day she was killed, said Lacquey, 50.

"She worked all her life, since she was 14," Lacquey said.

Lacquey said the little boy didn't yet understand what had happened. The daughter recognizes her mother is not coming back, Lacquey said.

"She had a dream the other night. She said 'My mommy's with the angels. My heart won't quit hurting.'"

This is why people have a hard time excepting the term "rehabilitation" for criminals on his level, was it ever a doubt that he would not go and do something this heartless. NO!! punishment like being reminded of what he has done.

I think this is the saddest thing I have heard in a long time. What kind of person stabs a young girl with two kids? I hope he gets what he deserves. Anna's family and kids did not deserve this.
