Airport officials say a concourse at Miami International Airport was temporarily shut down during a bomb scare. Airport spokesman Greg Chin said that about 5:30 a.m. Sunday an item in a checked bag went through an X-ray machine, and it looked like it could be an explosive device. Miami-Dade police's bomb unit was called to the scene, and they found it was a water filter, Chin said. Concourse D was shut down for about 40 minutes. Passengers were redirected to Concourse E. Chin says the closure didn't affect air traffic.
