Human bones found at construction site

TAMPA - A construction crew digging a septic tank off of U.S. Highway 301 discovered human remains about three feet below the surface Tuesday afternoon. The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office received a call at 3:13 p.m. about the discovery at 7808 U.S. Highway 301, just north of Martin Luther King Boulevard. A medical examiner confirmed the bones are human. Deputies cordoned off the area and were preserving the scene until this morning, when the scene will be processed by detectives, an archeologist from University of South Florida and the Medical Examiner's Office.
