D.S. Parrott Middle School: The School Advisory Council/Title I will meet at 5:30 p.m. March 31 in the Media Center.
Fox Chapel: There will be a PTSA meeting at 7 tonight in the media center.
Hernando High School: The school's Thespians will perform a "Night of Theatre" at 7 p.m. today and Friday in the auditorium. Tickets are $5 at the door. The show will feature dance, music, mimes and a one-act comedy, "Anybody For Tea?" For information, contact Maritza James at 797-7015, ext. 221.
Nature Coast Technical School: The school will host a Pre-Prom Fashion Show at 6 p.m. Saturday in the school courtyard. Proceeds benefit the Brooksville and Spring Hill Relay for Life for the American Cancer Society. Students and staff members will model prom attire. Area businesses will showcase prom goods and services. There will door prizes, hors d'oeuvres, music, a chocolate fountain and an ice cream social. - The Title I Committee meets at 8 a.m. March 26 in the Media Center.
Wider Horizons School: The annual "Friday Night Live" spring show is 7 p.m. Friday at the Springstead Theater, 3300 Mariner Blvd., Spring Hill. Tickets are $12 for adults and $3 for students of any school.
- Wider Horizons held its annual Science Fair on Feb. 8. Students in grades 2 through 12 presented experiments using the scientific method. Younger children gave science presentations or demonstrations. Parents and community leaders were judges.
Pine Grove Elementary School: Cici's Spirit Night is 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Come enjoy pizza and support the school.
- The School Advisory Council meets at 3:35 p.m. March 20 in the Music Room. Parents and community members are invited.
Withlacoochee River Electric Cooperative: Withlacoochee River Electric Cooperative offers scholarships to high school seniors in its service territory in Pasco, Hernando, Citrus, Sumter and Polk counties. Scholarships are $6,000 each and are awarded at $750 per semester. The application deadline is Friday. Applications are available at any local cooperative office, high school guidance offices or by visiting www.wrec.net.
Hernando County Cattlemen's Association: The Hernando County Cattlemen's Association offers a $1,000 scholarship to any high school senior/college student. The deadline is April 30. In the case of a tie, the scholarship will be divided. For information, call Nancy Hurst, scholarship committee chairwoman, at 596-5011.
