Senior Expo: Temple Terrace hosts the 19th annual Senior Expo featuring representatives from area businesses and agencies that cater to the elderly. More than 30 agencies, organizations and businesses will be on hand to distribute information, answer questions and demonstrate their products and services. 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Friday; Lightfoot Recreation Center, 10901 N 56th St., Temple Terrace; open to the public, free. Picnic: The Henry B. Plant Museum invites residents to bring lunch, coolers, chairs and blankets for an old fashioned picnic. The event features melodies from a Barber Shop Quartet, banjo players and live models dressed in authentic Victorian clothing. There will also be hoop and stick, horseshoe, badminton, checkers and jacks challenges. Tampa Bay Hotel staff member Arthur Schleman will present live storytelling in an outdoor performance that will last 30 minutes.
