When/where: Today-Sunday, Georgia Dome, Atlanta.

Today's schedule: East No.5 seed South Carolina vs. West No.4 LSU, 1 p.m.; E-No.3 Vanderbilt vs. W-No.6 Auburn, 3:15 p.m.; E-No.4 Florida vs. W-No.5 Alabama, 7:30 p.m.; E-No.6 Georgia vs. W-No.4 Mississippi, 9:45 p.m.

TV: Today's day games are on Sun Sports; the night games are on FSN. Friday's quarterfinals at 1, 3:15, 7:30 and 9:45 are on Sun. Saturday's semifinals at 1 and 3:15 are on Ch. 38. Sunday's final at 1 is on Ch.10.

Favorite: Tennessee. The Vols won their first outright SEC regular-season title in 42 years and were without question the league's best team, winning 11 of their final 12 games. But don't count out Vanderbilt. Although the Commodores are a No.3 seed, at any moment they can play like a No.1. And there's Mississippi State. The Bulldogs won the West for a reason: They are a very good team.

Dark horse: Kentucky. Two months ago, Kentucky looked as if it wasn't even NIT bound and everyone was asking, "What's wrong with Kentucky?" But the Wildcats rallied, winning 11 of their last 13. Even with just 18 wins, many consider them headed to the NCAA Tournament, but a few more would certainly help. After being the butt of league jokes earlier this season, Kentucky has something to prove.
