1. DALE MABRY HIGHWAY AT BEARSS AVENUE, DEC. 22, 12:04 P.M.: A southbound 1997 Acura rear-ended a 1993 Ford van after traffic stopped suddenly. The Acura driver, a 33-year-old woman, was charged with careless driving.
Road work
1. INTERSTATE 275, from Busch Boulevard to U.S. 41, will have periodic nighttime lane closures. Also watch for construction at Busch Boulevard and Fowler Avenue near the interstate. Work will continue until fall 2002, when the highway will have two new lanes.
