BAKOS, ROGER P., 61, of Inverness, died Wednesday (Jan. 31, 2001) at home. Born in Buffalo, N.Y., he came here nine years ago from Albuquerque, N.M. He was a retired insurance investigator. BARTOLUCCI, VINCENT A., 82, of Hernando, died Tuesday (Jan. 30, 2001). Born in Cambridge, Mass., he came here 13 years ago from Burlington, Mass. He was the retired owner of Vinny's TV & Radio Repair Service, Sommerville, Mass. He was a member of St. Scholastica Catholic Church, Lecanto, the Holy Name Society, Honolulu, and an usher for 24 years at St. Malachy Catholic Church, Burlington. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Burlington, and a member of the Navy Cantonment. ELLIOTT, MAXINE, 58, of Tampa, formerly of Brooksville, died Sunday (Jan. 28, 2001) at Vencor Hospital, Tampa. Born in Brooksville, she moved three years ago to Tampa. She was a retired custodian for the public school system and a former member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. JAWORSKI, GWEN, 87, of Clearwater, formerly of Beverly Hills, Fla., died Saturday (Jan. 27, 2001) at Palm Garden of Largo nursing home. She was born in Gardner, Mass., and moved to Clearwater in 1989 from Beverly Hills. She was Catholic, a retired teacher and a member of the American Institute of Polish Culture. KOK-ALBLAS, CLYDE WILLIAM, 84, of Inverness, died Wednesday (Jan. 31, 2001) at home. Born in Arlington, Iowa, he came here 14 years ago from Leesburg and was a retired tool and die maker. THARP, JANET M., 81, of Orlando, formerly of Clearwater and Homosassa, died Monday (Jan. 29, 2001) at home. She was born in Slocomb, Ala., and moved to Orlando in 1984. BECKMANN, OTTO F., 90, of Spring Hill, died Tuesday (Jan. 30, 2001) at Oak Hill Hospital. Born in Germany, he came here 11 years ago from Whiting, N.J. He was a grocery store manager. He was president of the German-American Club, Brooklyn, N.Y., and a member of the German-American Club, New Port Richey. He was Protestant. FAUSNAUGH, VIRGINIA E., 82, of Brooksville, died Tuesday (Jan. 30, 2001) at Hospice House in Brooksville. Born in Goshen, Ind., she came here 2 1/2 years ago from Baltimore and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, Brooksville. JOHNSON, ANN C., 49, of Waco, Texas, formerly of Tampa, died Friday (Jan. 26, 2001) in Waco. Born in Moffett, Okla., she lived here more than 18 years ago before moving to Georgia and then Waco. She was formerly employed as a phlebotomist for Tampa General and Carrollwood hospitals. LUPIEN, FREDERIC C. JR., 80, of Clearwater, formerly of Tampa, died Tuesday (Jan. 30, 2001) at Hospice House Woodside, Pinellas Park. He was born in Minneapolis. He was retired as the owner of Pen Supply Inc. after 40 years, he served as past president of NAWIDD, he worked as a baseball coach and umpire with the Tampa Parks & Recreation Department, he was one of the originators of the children's Gasparilla parade, he was a Coast Guard veteran of World War II serving on the USS General Howze in the Pacific Theater, he was a member of the American Legion, and a member of Skycrest United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Dolores; his daughter, Mary Marcy Bergin, Tampa; his son, Michael Jon Lupien Sr., Tampa; his sister, Marilyn L. Blouin, Largo; and three grandchildren. He was a retired service representative for T. Rowe Price, he was a member of Golden Key National Honor Society and was Lutheran. He lived in Connecticut before retuning to Florida in 1970. He was an Army veteran and retired as president of Florida Forest Products of Largo in 1991. CORNELL, MARGARET E., 81, of New Port Richey, died Tuesday (Jan. 30, 2001) at Community Hospital of New Port Richey. She was a winter resident for 32 years from her native Hamilton, Canada. She was a clerk in the travel bureau with the Canadian government in Ottawa, with 25 years of service. She was a member of the United Church of Canada and a member of the New Port Richey Shuffle Board Club. FENECH, FRANCIS J., 86, of Port Richey, died Tuesday (Jan. 30, 2001). Born in Valleta, Malta, he came here nine years ago from Brooklyn, N.Y. He was a doorman with Brevoort Local 32B. HICKEY, WILLIAM F. SR., 82, of Hudson, died Wednesday (Dec. 6, 2000) at Hernando-Pasco Hospice, Hudson. Born in Baltimore, he came here six years ago from Silver Spring, Md. He was a retired civil and criminal defense trial lawyer with his own law practice in Montgomery Village, Md. He was general counsel for the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Montgomery County. He was a fourth-degree in the Knights of Columbus, and was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Audrey M.; four sons, William F. RANDALL, JOHN, 75, of New Port Richey, died Wednesday (Jan. 31, 2001) at Brooksville Health Care Center. He came here 15 years ago from his native Wahpeton, N.D. He was a farmer and was employed by North Dakota State College of Science, the Plugrath Co., and Lenzmier Trucking and Roadway Cargo. He was the owner and operator of Randall Transfer Co. and Super Service, Wahpeton and Campbell, Minn. He was a Wahpeton volunteer firefighter, a Richland County commissioner, a member of the American Legion, and a fourth-degree member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a member of St. John's Catholic Church. - LUPIEN, FREDERIC C. JR., 80, of Clearwater, formerly of Tampa, died Tuesday (Jan. 30, 2001) at Hospice House Woodside, Pinellas Park. He came to Tampa in 1947 from his native Minneapolis and moved in 1990 to Clearwater. He retired after 40 years as owner and operator of Pen Supply Inc. and was past president of NAWID. He was a baseball coach and umpire for many years with the Tampa Parks & Recreation Department. He was a founder of the children's Gasparilla Parade. He was a Coast Guard veteran of World War II and served in the Pacific theater aboard the USS General Howze. He was a member of Skycrest United Methodist Church of Clearwater and the American Legion. He was a shuffleboard and bridge player and recently achieved a score of 7,000 points in one game. He owned and operated a motel for nine years in Hightstown, N.J., and retired in 1976 after 35 years working in various securities brokerage firms in New York City.
